Close to the railway station, the Bowyer Arms offers a wide range of drinks and food. 

It is managed, on behalf of Greene King, by Leigh Reed.

Eddie and Carol Cavanagh were the managers until April 2008 and have moved to the College Oak on the Peachcroft estate in Abingdon.
