Natural History of Radley

Herbs

Orchids

All orchids on this page have spotted leaves and are believed to be varieties and hybrids of the , Southern March Orchid (Dactylorhiza praetermissa) and Common Spotted Orchid (Dactylorhiza fuchsii) and Early Marsh Orchid (Dactylorhiza incarnata). However several, those on the left, closely resemble Broad-leaved Marsh Orchid (Dactllorhiza majalis) which is rare in the locality. All identifications should regarded as tentative. Photographs are of different plants.

Please contact us if you are able to indentify any of these orchids more precisely.
