Natural History of Radley

Herbs

Orchids

All orchids on this page have spotted leaves and are believed to be varieties and hybrids of the , Southern March Orchid (Dactylorhiza praetermissa) and Common Spotted Orchid (Dactylorhiza fuchsii) and Early Marsh Orchid (Dactylorhiza incarnata). However several closely resemble Broad-leaved Marsh Orchid (Dactllorhiza majalis) which is rare in the locality.

Please contact us if you are able to indentify any of these orchids more precisely.
