Radley Quilters

Radley Quilters meet in the Church Room on generally the third Thursday evening of each month from 7 pm until 9.30 pm (meeting dates below). People come for all or part of the session as they can. We may also have a second meeting on the first Wednesday of the month at a member's house.

We are a small happy group who by and large 'do our own thing', but enjoy meeting up to show each other what we are up to and to compare notes and pool resources. We aim to raise funds for local charities through exhibitions and other events.

We range from fairly experienced to complete beginners, and we learn from each other, pass on any skills learnt at workshops and organise the occasional workshop for the group. We welcome new members!

A highlight of 2006 was our two-day exhibition at Radley College (Sewell Centre) in March.

Part of a quilt made by Radley Quilters, which was raffled to raise money for charity.

Part of the quilt raffled at our exhibition at Radley College in March 2004.
It was made in conjunction with Abbey and Fitzharrys Quilters,
and raised £1,500 for Abingdon Alzheimer’s Club.
