  • DO YOU LIKE CRICKET?

Radley Village CC is looking for an umpire. Knowledge of the rules is useful but not essential – training is available. Umpires are paid £35 for each game; matches are all within Oxfordshire but can usually be arranged within reasonable distance of Abingdon. Please contact Richard on 01235 533 444 or Nik on 01235 538 198

  • HELP WANTED

You may have noticed that the this website is not being updated as often as it used to be / should be. This is because some of our stalwarts have deserted us and we find ourselves very short-handed (in more ways than one). If you can commit an hour or two per week to helping with maintaining some of the pages, including the information pages, please get in touch. Experience is not essential but some computer literacy and knowledge of how websites work would be helpful. Also we need someone to look after the administration of the website itself as webmaster, for which some experience/knowledge would probably be required. Please contact the Parish Clerk if you are interested in helping out in any way.

On this site you will find lots of practical information, some primarily of interest to residents, as well as information of wider interest about the village, its wildlife, institutions, clubs and societies; past, present and future events; and the activities of its Parish Council. Just click on a link on the sidebar or on a headline above to find out more.

Radley has a pub, post office, shop, church, primary school, pre-school, village hall with playing field and play area as well as its famous public school, Radley College. The College offers its sports and other facilities to the public for hire, and these are available to various village groups. A number of clubs to suit all ages are active in the village.

If you wish to express your views about any aspect this site, or if you have any material or information that you would like to contribute, please contact us. Alternatively visit the Radley Forum, to express your views on anything you may think is of interest to readers of this website, or to advertise things you may want to sell or buy.
